Recognising programmes and projects focused on empowering educators with the necessary strategies, resources and insights for the effective integration of AI into educational practice. Entries for this award demonstrate the importance of providing educators and school leaders with the leverage they need to effectively incorporate AI into their teaching methods and/or administrative practices.
LEARNING EXCELLENCE AWARD
Learning, studying, and teaching will undergo significant transformations influenced by AI. This category is dedicated to best-practices from primary and secondary education where AI aids students and educators in classroom practices and/or the learning process. Submissions in this category exemplify the benefits of AI for human learning within an ethical and moral framework.

Special award
On the sidelines of the Belgian Economic Mission to Norway, the jury rewarded an outstanding Belgian entry in one of the two categories with a Special Belgian Award. The winner of the Special Belgian Award was the project of primary school De Wereldreiziger from Antwerp, which focuses on closing the reading skills gap by using AI. The Award was an exceptional opportunity for Belgian educators, school leaders, and those empowering the Belgian educational ecosystem to put their innovative projects in the spotlight.
